Happiness is a clean kitchen

I think I love this kitchen almost as much as I love my own!

photo is from myhomeideas.com

But this one is definitely on top of the dream pile
Maybe it's just the photo styling, but the blue hydrangeas and the chairs at the table just add that extra "je ne sais quoi" that makes me want to dance in my pjs and make banana pancakes!

but, when my kitchen is clean, my mind is clear!

I cleaned the kitchen last night to clear my head and start the week fresh and new. When it's spic and span clean it feels like a whole new room!

The trauma of last week has worn off and I'm busily working on another hot potato project, while staying on top of the situation at the mortgage company. I decided that, besides the flaws, I love my house enough to fight for it! (and that's more than I can say for my energy bill, which was at an all time high this month?)

This morning's "Streams in the Desert" was "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Joel 2:32) and says "So why don't I call on His name? Why do I run to this or that person, when God is so near and will hear my faintest call? Why do I sit down to plot my own course and make my own plans? Why don't I immediately place myself and my burden on the Lord?"         My sentiments, exactly!

I instantly remembered a song from VBS years ago, "I will call upon the Lord, Who is worthy to be praised, so shall I be saved from my enemies, I will call upon the Lord".
Mmmm, soothing to my soul, y'all.
I feel an enormous amount of comfort and peace. Could be the prayers and thoughts of so many sweet friends.
For now, I am content!

I Love this blog!!!!!

I don't know how to describe it... would comforting be a good description?

Love the blue/grayish kitchen, definitely my favorite.

About your home, remember that mortgage companies will always rather work something out with you then to lose another property to foreclosure. We are more protected now then before from mortgage companies. I've heard of people suing their mortgage companies and winning. So don't worry about that, you are not going anywhere.
