Royal Wedding

my grandparents, Brooklyn, NY.
Even with the absence of fanfare and a wedding party this is still a "Royal" treasure to me.

original style frame for CNN's wedding coverage

I enjoyed watching the Royal Wedding immensely! Yes, I got up early (and went to work) and watched it from there. 2 Cups of coffee and lots of jokes about hats and other observations, I can say that I was truly tired but enjoyed taking in this historical event!
I remember watching William's parents get married and I was just as thrilled then.
Watching a young woman become a princess with her tiara, beautiful gown, carriage and handsome prince is the stuff fairy tales are made of. After all of the weather related tragedies and bad news on the telly it was nice to be temporarily deluded by all of the Pomp and Circumstance.

Did you watch?
Which coverage did you choose?

Loved Kate's Grace Kelly inspired dress and flowers:

Love the scripture that Kate's brother read from
Romans 12:10-18
"Love must be sincere.
Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
Be devoted to one another in love.
Honor one another above yourselves.
Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
Share with the Lord’s people who are in need.
Practice hospitality.
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.
Live in harmony with one another.
Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position.
 Do not be conceited.
Do not repay anyone evil for evil.
Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.
If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone."
